The Government will provide quality and uninterrupted 24/7 power supply to all the textile and apparel parks. Besides, new units and expansion or diversification of existing units are eligible for Power Tariff Subsidy. Tariff subsidy @ Rs. 1 per unit will be provided for ginning and pressing mills. For all other units including spinning, weaving, knitting, processing, garment manufacturing, and manufacturers of textile machinery, the power tariff subsidy will be as per following scheme. The subsidy will be valid for a period of 5 years from the date of commencement of commercial production.
